Nick and Daintry; A Heli Ride to Meade Glacier
Nick and Daintry met when Nick's four wheeler broke down on the country road where Daintry lived. She welcomed Nick to stay there, while he waited for for parts to arrive. Before the four wheeler was fixed, this Welsh girl stole his heart, putting an end to his single days! They had never flown a helicopter, nor kissed on a glacier before. This was a day to cherish. May 21, 2015 Although Spring in Alaska can vary in temperature with blustery snowy days, this day was a warm, windless blue-bird kind of day. Meredith had contacted me back in January, wanting a wedding ceremony on a glacier. "Why not splurge a little on the most memorable day of your life," she said. I agreed! The planning began. We hit it off from the start. She was easy to talk to. I felt as if I were helping plan my own daughter's wedding. Meredith was a "do-it-yourself"

May 7, 2015 This glacier wedding ceremony took place on an amazingly warm blue sky spring day. 6 of us flew via helicopter, to Meade Glacier. Vows were exchanged, and Shannon McGuire of Chugach Peaks Photography caught this darling dip n kiss photo.
