August 20, 2015 Leigh and Silvie asked, "Is there a salmon stream near Skagway?" Since fishing together was an important common thread shared between the two of them, a creek with salmon in it, was their dream wedding venue. August is our month for the Dyea Pink Salmon Run. August 6, 2015 Ashley and Patrick wanted "casual and stress free" for their wedding day. Dressed in jeans, topped with a lacey white blouse, this beautiful bride chose to marry in the mountains above Skagway. I suggested "Mountain Madness" for their wedding venue. We drove for 20 minutes, into White’s Pass alpine, in search of a scenic mountain setting. Their two friends, one whom was also their photographer, joined us. May 21, 2015 Although Spring in Alaska can vary in temperature with blustery snowy days, this day was a warm, windless blue-bird kind of day.
